Food as Medicine, Food as Joy

Cooking with care, awareness, and the wisdom of Ayurveda

Cooking has been at the heart of my life for over a decade. I bring together culinary expertise and the wisdom of Ayurveda to create meals that nourish body and spirit. My food is never about restriction—it’s about connection, balance, and joy.

Working with food has shaped my life  for over fifteen years. As a certified Ayurvedic Nutrition & Lifestyle Guide, I bring together classical culinary expertise and the wisdom of Ayurveda to create nourishing experiences that go beyond the plate.

When I design menus for retreats or gatherings, my goal is to offer meals that are more than just food—they’re experiences and a deep source of nourishment and connection. Every dish honors individuality while celebrating our shared need for balance, joy, and vitality.

My approach is never about restriction. It’s about awareness, connection, and pleasure. I work with locally sourced, seasonal ingredients, prepared in harmony with nature’s cycles. Each meal becomes a way of remembering how deeply food supports our well-being when created with care.

Besides cooking for groups, I also share this approach in workshops—hands-on experiences that empower people to understand navigating their unique constitution, seasonal rhythms, and the elemental qualities that shape both our bodies and the world around us.

Here’s a taste of what I can create—seasonal, nourishing menus that honor your group’s needs and the flow of nature.

I had the immense pleasure of experiencing Baru's incredible cuisine on two separate occasions during a company retreat in Costa Blanca, Spain. Her professionalism and passion for serving authentic Ayurvedic meals truly shone through in every dish. The food was not only delicious but thoughtfully prepared to nourish both body and soul. We enjoyed her creations so much that we rehired her for our farewell dinner! If you're in the area, I highly recommend Baru for an unforgettable and nourishing culinary experience.

Thank you, Baru!
